Program Premium Cost
How Your Monthly Contributions Change When You or Your Spouse/Domestic Partner Becomes Eligible for Medicare
When you or your spouse/domestic partner becomes eligible for Medicare, coverage in the Medical Program for you or your spouse/domestic partner automatically will be changed to the CIGNA Post-65 Medicare option and your monthly premium cost for coverage for you or your spouse/domestic partner, whichever is applicable, will be adjusted. When you or your spouse/domestic partner attains age 65, your monthly premium cost will be adjusted beginning in the month you or your spouse/domestic partner attains age 65. If you or your spouse/domestic partner becomes Medicare-eligible before age 65 due to a disability, the monthly premium cost for you or your spouse/domestic partner will be adjusted beginning in the month you notify the Company of Medicare eligibility for you or your spouse/domestic partner. Refer to the “Administrative and Contact Information” section for details on whom to contact regarding Medicare eligibility.
