Retiree Medical, Prescription Drug and Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs - Moore Wallace
Your Legal Right to Continuation Coverage
Payment
Generally, you or your spouse/domestic partner must pay a premium to the Program of 102% of the applicable unsubsidized premium during the 36-month (or, in the case of bankruptcy, longer) period of continuation coverage. The initial continuation coverage premium is due by the 45th day after coverage is elected. All other payments are due on the first day of the month for which you or your spouse/domestic partner is buying coverage, subject to a 30-day grace period. If you or your spouse/domestic partner does not make payment on or before the first day of the month, claims by you or your spouse/domestic partner will not be paid by the Program until payment is received within the 30-day grace period.
