Coordinating Benefits With Other Programs
Medicare
Medicare Part C
To be covered by Medicare Part C – Medicare Advantage – you or your spouse/domestic partner must enroll in that program. If you or your spouse/domestic partner is enrolled in Medicare Part C, the Program will be secondary, but will pay no benefits. This is the case even if Medicare pays less than the amount the Program would have paid (if the Program were primary) and you or your spouse/domestic partner has met the annual deductible requirement for your coverage option under the Retiree Group Health Program. Detailed information on Medicare programs can be found at www.medicare.gov.
