Retiree Medical, Prescription Drug and Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs - RR Donnelley
Who Is Eligible
Retiree Eligibility Requirements
You are eligible for coverage as a retiree under the Program if you meet both of these requirements:
 | Your employment with RR Donnelley and all of its subsidiaries (which excludes Moore Wallace North America, Inc., and all of its subsidiaries) terminated on or after your 55th birthday; and
|
 | You completed 10 or more years of service with RR Donnelley or any of its subsidiaries in a benefits-eligible position, and this period of service must end after attaining age 55. |
See the “Special Rules for Certain Participants” section for additional information.
You are not eligible for coverage under the Program if you are covered as a spouse or dependent of an active employee under the Medical and Prescription Drug Program of the R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company Group Benefits Plan (“Active Program”).
You are eligible for coverage under the Program as a retiree if you are a self-employed member of the board of directors of RR Donnelley (e.g., an outside director) and you need not satisfy any other eligibility requirements described above. However, the Program will apply differently to you than is described in this SPD. For example, there will be no company subsidy of annual premiums for the Program, and you must pay the total cost of coverage with after-tax dollars; your spouse and dependents are not eligible for coverage; your coverage under the Program will terminate when you cease to be a self-employed member of the board of directors of RR Donnelley; and you will not be eligible for COBRA continuation coverage.
