Who Is Eligible
If You Are on an Authorized Leave of Absence
If you are an employee on an authorized leave of absence as determined under the provisions of your employer’s policies, you may be eligible for coverage under the Program if you meet the eligibility requirements for the Program as outlined above. For this purpose, service earned while on an authorized leave of absence from a benefits-eligible position will qualify as service under the Program’s eligibility requirements of 10 or more years of service.
