Retiree Medical, Prescription Drug and Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs - RR Donnelley
Enrolling for Coverage
Eligible Surviving Spouse’s Enrollment
If you die and your surviving spouse is eligible for the Program, your surviving spouse may enroll prior to the first of any month in which your surviving spouse wants coverage to begin, and coverage for your surviving spouse is effective the first day of that month. If your eligible surviving spouse also is an RR Donnelley employee who is eligible for coverage under the Program, your eligible surviving spouse may enroll as a retiree.
If your eligible surviving spouse wants to enroll, your eligible surviving spouse can:
 | Call the Benefits Center at 1-877-RRD-4BEN (1-877-773-4236). |
Your eligible surviving spouse can choose to enroll for coverage at any time or your eligible surviving spouse can drop coverage at any time after your eligible surviving spouse has enrolled in the Program, effective the first day of the month following the date your eligible surviving spouse submits enrollment or disenrollment papers. If your eligible surviving spouse has dropped coverage, your eligible surviving spouse may at any time reenroll effective the first day of the month following the date your eligible surviving spouse submits enrollment papers.
Your eligible surviving spouse will receive a confirmation of your eligible surviving spouse’s enrollment or disenrollment based on your eligible surviving spouse’s method of enrollment. If your eligible surviving spouse enrolls via the website, your eligible surviving spouse should print a confirmation page (a paper statement will not be mailed to your eligible surviving spouse). If your eligible surviving spouse enrolls by phone, your eligible surviving spouse will receive a written confirmation in the mail.
