Program Premium Cost
Determining an Annual Premium for You and Your Spouse
If You Are Involuntarily Separated
If you are involuntarily separated from employment pursuant to a workforce reduction within 12 months of the date you otherwise would have satisfied the eligibility criteria for an annual subsidy cap amount, you will be treated, for purposes of the annual subsidy cap amount, as if your employment did not terminate until you would have become eligible for the annual subsidy cap amount. You will become eligible for the annual subsidy cap amount effective on the first of the month following the date you would have become eligible for the annual subsidy cap amount if your involuntary separation had not occurred, provided you are alive on that date.
