Retiree Medical, Prescription Drug and Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs - RR Donnelley
How the Prescription Drug Program Works
General Information
The Prescription Drug Program described throughout this SPD is available to you and your spouse, provided you enroll yourself and your spouse for coverage under the Retiree Group Health Program. Regardless of the Medical Program you select,
CVS Caremark is the claims administrator and pharmacy network manager for your prescription drug coverage.
If you or your spouse is Medicare-eligible and you or your spouse enrolls in the CIGNA Post-65 Medicare coverage option, you and your spouse are reminded not to enroll in Medicare Part D. If you or your spouse signs up for coverage under Medicare Part D, you or your spouse will lose coverage under the Prescription Drug Program.
If you or your spouse is eligible for Medicare, you or your spouse should have received a Notice of Creditable Coverage. If you or your spouse received this notice, you or your spouse can enroll in Medicare Part D in the future with no penalty. If you or your spouse is eligible for Medicare and didn’t receive the Notice, or you or your spouse has questions related to Medicare Part D, please contact the Benefits Center. Benefits Center Representatives who specialize in Medicare Part D-related questions are available to assist you or your spouse.
The Prescription Drug Program covers most outpatient prescription drug expenses, provided the claims administrator considers the drug to be a covered expense.
